My background
I am a relative newcomer to Dennis Township. We purchased our home in South Seaville about 20 years ago as I was developing my home improvement services business with clients mostly in Sea Isle City.
My professional background is varied and spans careers in horticulture, arboriculture, corporate managment, information technology consulting and ultimately home improvement/handyman services for beach homes. The thread that has run through all of these wide ranging areas is the love of problem solving. Probably why one of my favorite non-work pastimes is solving crossword puzzles .
When we lived in Pennsylvania I was active in local politics by participating and managing various campaigns. I was also active in public service such as heading up the local Shade Tree Commission. I set that aside for some time after I moved to Dennis Township so that I could focus on my business. I became interested and involved in local public affairs about 4 years ago and 2 years ago I became a Democratic Party committeeperson for my voting district. I am also the Deputy Municipal Leader for the Democratic Party in DT.
In my spare time I've been working with my wife of 50+ years restoring our 100+ year old home. I also consult to and volunteer with the Cape May County Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
